Ever since Meghan & David met against the achingly romantic backdrop of Florence, Italy there has been a special spark between them. After meeting in Italy while Meghan was studying abroad & David was on a business trip from France, the international couple made their way around the globe - they watched their love grow as they took in the sights from Paris (David's city of residence), to Miami (Meghan's hometown) and beyond. When these jet-setting lovebirds came to choosing the destination for their wedding, Martha's Vineyard - where Meghan had spent summers as a child - struck them as the perfect place because of the way the charming island held appeal for everyone on their guest list: "Being from two very different places we knew the one place everyone would not hesitate to jump on a plane, a bus, a car, or ferry would be Martha's Vineyard," Meghan says. The island's infamous charm did not disappoint - Meghan & David were married on a beautiful fall day. They went with an understated nautical decor theme, a non-traditional approach to bridesmaids dresses & a decidedly romantic overall motif!
