Using a combination of planning expertise & innovative style, Nicole Whelden strives to make each of the island's weddings extraordinary.

The Michigan native came to Nantucket for a summer job and instantly fell in love with the tiny island's many charms. When she met her husband, Scott, on the island, Whelden's fate was sealed and Nantucket became her new home.

Incorporating vintage elements into your floral arrangements is a fantastic and unique way to express your individuality. There are numerous ways this look can be acheived. Using dainty flowers and heirloom ribbon can lend old-fashioned charm to wedding decor. Antique lace jars swatched in vintage doilies light the way for nighttime strolls. Green glass vases by Moser Glass spill flowers across the reception tables in a series of small arrangements. In the photos above, glance upon the sweet and feminine charm of vintage finds.

More than 20 years after she opened The Casual Gourmet in a tiny storefront gourmet shop, Olive Chase is known across Cape Cod as "the caterer" to call for every special occasion, be it a casual afternoon cocktail party or a nighttime gala fundraiser. Her real specialty, though, is helping brides create fabulous weddings that fit every taste and budget.
