Fresh Wedding Ideas

I have been engaged for a few months and I am excited to attend the Wedding Affair to get started planning. I am looking forward to seeing some fresh and new ideas from some of the wedding professionals that will be there!
I know the Candy Bar has been done a bunch at weddings, but my fiance and I just picked the candies we will be using and we had a great time picking colors and types of candy for our guests. I have been to a few weddings with the candy bars, and everyone loves having the choice of how much they want and what they want as favors.
When it comes to FRESH WEDDING IDEAS - the trend seems to be "green" and eco-friendly. I think it is a great idea to use decorations that you are re-use or even that you have made your self! It may take a bit more time to do the craft work, but you will feel eve more rewarded and excited about your day knowing how much hard work you put into making it fantastic. there are a lot of craft tips and websites out there to help you and get ideas.
I think it is really great to select a "theme" for your wedding because it can make it easier to plan and decorate compared to just selecting a color scheme. If you pick a theme it can help focus the decor rather then having a plethora of options which can be over-whelming!
This summer, i was a bridesmaid and instead of the traditional bouquet - we carried hydrangea flower balls or pom poms. We carried them by a looped ribbon - they were beautiful and something i have never seen before! I loved it.
So many brides use hygrandea's at their weddings because they are gorgeous flowers, but it can be repetitive - the pom poms were fun, and if you use hygrangea, they come in so many colors you can make them fit your color scheme!
