Shrugs.jpg

Dating as far back as the late 19th century, the shrug, or bolero jacket is a timeless piece that adds depth and elegance to any wedding ensemble. La Belle Époque, a period in European history known for lavish dress and luxury, first introduced the shrug to the fashion world.

Unpredictability is something all brides are familiar with, especially when it comes to the weather. One way to beat the cold weather or chill of the night is to cover bare shoulders with a shrug. Whether made of lace, wool, cotton, the shrug is stylish, luxurious and practical.

neckline_7.27.jpg

Called an "illusion" neckline, this style is something that brides everywhere have begun to incorporate into their wedding gown fantasies. Almost like a riddle, it can appear both vintage but very modern, and both modest but very daring at the same time. With it surprising versatility, we imagine this style in anything from a romantic garden wedding, to a classic cathedral white wedding.

blue_7.13.jpg

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue… For us, something blue is not only the things you keep close to you on your wedding day, but it is also a powerful palette that ranges from whimsical pale blues, to majestic navies. Splash blue in anything from bridesmaids dresses, to wedding treats and decor, to your very own bouquet. We especially love blue dainty shoes amidst an all white dress, and the combination of blue and gold in the fluttering hand fan you can find here.
