A Show of Hearts!  This is a great art show where artists (myself included) can donate art pieces for auction- the best part is that ALL of the proceeds from the work are donated to benefit BREAST CANCER RESEARCH!  

The show is sponsored by Art BeCause and the Post Road Art Center.

Last night I cracked out my trusty Paste Paper Recipe.  I keep it stored in a large journal I made while in a “Journals of Belonging” class.  (You can see the recipe in the fist photo)

While waiting for the water to boil, I began flipping through the pages, as it was a nice reminder to see how I had documented the week-long book binding experience.

Recently I have been working on a few fun projects. A Guest book made for Eleanor’s 80th birthday celebration!  Its tomorrow- and a surprise, so shhhhh don’t tell her!   Her name is on the cover, and its made using one of a kind handmade paste paper in blue swirls.  The book also has a pretty double ribbon closure.
